The Standard First Aid & CPR Training course teaches an approach on how to manage medical emergencies and render life saving care until professional help arrives.
This course is required for workplaces in Ontario employing six or more workers in any one shift at a work area or anyone interested in gaining first aid knowledge and skills. (Required under WSIB Regulation 1101).

This course is fully approved by the WSIB and also includes skill stations and scenario based learning applications. The Standard First Aid & CPR Training includes a Course Handout(s), the First Aid & CPR Reference Manual and the course requires a written exam to complete. Successfuly completion of the course results in a Standard First Aid & C.P.R. Level “C” Certificate (with wallet card) that is valid for 2 years, with a 1 day re-certification course required for another 2 more years.
Recommended Prerequisites : Strong working knowledge of English is recommended.
