Safety in a Box is a subscription-based website that provides employers with a variety of digital resources on health and safety topics.

 

Managing a health & safety program has never been more difficult - a tight economy, new issues and high system expectations combine to make the ongoing requirements of an effective  health & safety program a perpetual challenge.

Safety in a Box provides firms with a ready-made set of expert, up-to-date and comprehensive pre-made health & safety topics ready to be used for implementation in your workplace with minimal outlay of time or money.  These resources can be used with employees to help everyone in the workplace walk, talk and live safety.

Safety in a Box can be used with employees to reinforce health and safety practices and build a culture of safety.

Each quarter, resources on three topics will be posted. Content includes:

• Email/memos designed to make it easy to inform employees and build awareness of particular issues
• Checklists that can be used to identify and assess a specific hazard
• Customizable Posters to raise awreness and help employees identify issues
• Safety Talks for managers and supervisors to use for conducting a safety meeting
• Handouts that can be presented to employees as a take-away from safety meetings
• Executive talking points for senior management
• Newsletter articles that can easily be dropped into a internal newsletter or company website
• Customizable certificates of recognition to recognize health and safety excellence

 

 Many of the resources can be customized by employers. The website also includes a guide for implementing and using the Safety in a Box resources.

How to subscribe:

A single user license, one-year subscription to Safety in a Box, with one user ID and unlimited access to download and reproduce the materials for use is available for $249 (taxes not included). Multiple-user licenses are available for firms with more than one or having multiple locations that require more than one license to access the materials are available.
